After a 14-year hiatus, former Top 12 Singapore Star Search 2001 finalist Dennis Toh’s love for acting and modelling was reignited after reconnecting with a fellow alumnus to act in 2 church plays. Thereafter, within a short span of 5 years, Dennis has appeared in over 30 dramas and commercials.
On-screen, he most recently appeared as ‘Keong’ on ‘A Bridge’, a four-part series commissioned by MCCY.
In the theatre scene, Dennis appeared in Four Horse Road 2020 staged by The Theatre Practice In Mar/April 2020. He also produced ‘Surviving Hope’ which was staged at Gateway Theatre in September 2022. From May 26 to May 28 next month, Dennis will be staging “Catfished”, a contemporary Mandarin play that he has written and produced. A graduate from Wee Kim Wee School of Communications and Information in NTU, Dennis currently teaches Mass Media and Communication subjects at a few tertiary institutions in Singapore. He is also the Author of "101 Ways to get Publicity".
Garnering more than 15 years of media and PR experience , he mentors young marketers and small business owners to boost their sales, build credibility and create a powerful presence using a low-cost, high impact publicity and social media methods.
